Alena is the current CMAS world champion for constant weight, no fins. As a kid, Alena was an excellent swimmer where she became a world champion for CNF (2011) only a few years after taking on freediving, holding a world record in the same event. Born in Hong Kong, Andrew learnt to dive at the age of 10 and studied as an Oceanographer, gaining a Bachelor in Ocean Science. In addition to his studies, Andrew enhanced his passion for diving by completing the HSE Professional SCUBA Divers certification. Now, Andrew is a full-time Instructor in Hong Kong and one of the managing partners of Mandarin Divers, Hong Kong.

Jessea Lu (陆文婕) (China)

Mariah is a PADI Dive master, a certified freediver, and a UW model. She is developing a mermaid course that will integrate mermaid and freedive best practices from around the world and went recently to the Philippines for her IMSIA mermaid instructor course. He has held several solo photography exhibitions in recent years, and many of his works have been nominated for and won awards at various national and international competitions.

Yuri Chan is the founder of the Mermaid Star (HK) Academy, a film actor, singer, and an ex-TVB artist. Yuri wanted to become a mermaid since her childhood and started a mermaid course in 2016 – the only mermaid course in Hong Kong. She wants to promote the mermaid art all around the world.
Zheng Ru Yue (郑茹月) (China)
At 16 years of age, Zheng Ru Yue won the Chinese Diving Championship and retired in 2008 to become a Diving Team Coach in Guangdong. She has over 8 years of experience as a coach, with 3 of her students eventually representing the World Diving Championships and 6 of them reaching national levels. She became a mermaid coach in 2016, creating specific mermaid training courses. She is currently the director of MissVsea Studio Mermaid Project and hopes to inspire and expand the mermaid network.
